Bidra med feedbackHave been there several times. Kan and his team are great, just like going to Japan without leaving Campsie. My fave is Karaage Chicken Curry, yummy, keep up the good work. Domo Kan.
In this lesser known part of Sydney sits this Japanese restaurant that once we tried, kept us going back. Love: the oysters with ponzhu dressing in the mixed sashimi plate; the subtle dashi in udon; the value of the bento box.
When you step into this small restaurant, it brings you back to a real Japanese restaurant you find in Japan! It's always crowded on a weekends, sometimes a certain weekdays too. But it's worth the wait. The sushi is definitely fresh, as the boss, Koji-san, always gets it fresh on that day. Presentation of the sushi is a "wow" factor. All his plates and cutleries are sourced from Japan. Even the decorations are brought in from Japan. There are bento set, which I love to eat!.It's value for money! Tried their Kakuni Pork Belly, it melts in your mouth! In fact all their sashimi and sushi is worth it.Only thing is their dessert menu, not much of a choice, only green tea and black sesame ice cream with azuki beans. Worth making a trip to this small authentic Japanese restaurant in Campsie, as you would not find one real Japanese restaurant there.
Best Japanese-cheap and very tasty. I only hope that the restaurant expands into a bigger shops as at present if is only small fitting a maximum of 15-17 people.
A good alternative to the busy mamariya which is only a few steps away.
