Petition Kitchen - Perth

I've been to Petition a few times and I think this place is great. The selection of wine is excellent, thr staff is very helpful (had a great guy who lived in germany for a while) and the food was very good. A great place to have a good night with a small group of friends!

Great location! Staff were very nice, and friendly. The beer corner was a little packer so they let us enjoy our beers at the wine bar - we also ordered some delicious plates to share. Despite the setting, the atmosphere is very relaxed, no pretention from the staff, and they were all very accommadating. Nice list of wines by the glass, super varied list of beers as well as staff that help u figure out what beers you'd like best. Thumbs up! Awesome drinks, great place, good eats!!

Astounding selection of wine. Wonderful service except by one clueless female behind the bar, a sentiment agreed to by another staff member... Tried out a few of the tapas dishes on offer. Bread was lovely, as was the duck liver parfait (purreed, not firm). However we were all unimpressed by the charcuterie board - very sparse. Oysters were small. Fremantle octopus dish was nice but small.

Great space and vibe. The wine store/bar out the back has a great selection and the service is top notch - they'll happily help you choose a wine and give tastings. The main bar out the front is heaving on a Friday night but they never rush you, and happily give beer tastings and throw around some pretty impressive knowledge of what they're serving!

Perfect spot for a civilised glass of wine or two for a 'work' meeting. Had the Malbec by the glass which was outstanding and served with a smile. Love sitting in the grand entrance of the Treasury building. Cheese platter next time!
