The Mint Asian Cafe - Perth

I'd rate the food 3/5 but I'll kick it up to 3.5/5 because the lunch specials are on point for $10 and they're a generous portion. I've tried satay chicken, salt and pepper chicken and beef kway teow. I liked the salt and pepper chicken the best. Didn't like the insane amount of pepper in the beef Kway teow, satay chicken was ok but needed to be more peanutty.

Very good cheap Asian food. I keep going back for the special fried rice - it lives up to its name! The service is cheerful and you don't have to wait long even when they are very busy during the lunch time rush. The decor is very basic.

Small place but serve best food in town. last visit was 2 years ago but the feeling remain the same. service was informal and homey. Good price, food size and tastes good.

I have been eating at this place for a few years on my trips to Perth, its a quaint little place that most people would probably just keep walking past not seriously considering to stop and eat there.The food is excellent and very cheap, meal portions are quite large and there's always left overs to take away with you. A good selection of food and very authentic. Don't expect fine dining with silver service, they have plastic table cloths plastic chairs and none of the cutlery matches but if you want quality good food and a great price then this place is a must to eat at.I will definatly keep coming back.
