We liked every sample of the house appetizers, a generous and vast selection of the menu dishes. The staff was friendly enough and the location is right in the middle of the village.

We enjoyed the fish here so much that we ate here twice. The staff were pleasant, and on both occasions we saw lots of locals here as well as tourists. This was good value food and wine. Their speciality is food 'Al brace ', which they translate as grilled. This doesn 't do it justice, as the bed of cinders they use gives the food a great taste.

We had only one night in the Gargano and spent the night in Peschici on the recommendation of a friend. Chose the Ristorante Fra Stefano as we liked the menu after strolling thru the old town. Despite a TripAdvisor rating of only in the mid forties, we had a wonderful meal. Once seated, the restaurant did not have the first 2 things on the menu that we wanted, but once the house special antipasta di terra arrived, all was forgiven. I could have made that my whole meal. 6 different veggies plus burrata to die for. After that my husband ordered the orchiette with clams and I had the veal steak which were both very good. Was given 2 complimentary sweet wine with biscotti after we passed on dessert. Overall was happy and pleasantly surprised.
