Bidra med feedbackSushiya used to be located in Isetan 1 Utama but has now relocated to a different part of the mall. They serve fresh, high quality sushi, albeit on the pricey side but you do get what you pay for. Their service is great too. You order from a tablet at your table and you can opt to sit at the bar counter where you can watch the chefs prepare your sushi. The place isn’t big, so if you’re planning to go in a big group, it’ll be better to make a reservation beforehand.
Requested for salmon and engawa don (not directly off the menu). Portion was quite big, fresh as always! Even the chawanmushi and miso soup was good and waaay better than other typical Japanese chain
Sushiya previously known as Ichiro. The restaurant moved to the newly renovated building in 1U. Although the price is slightly high, the quality of the food is up to par, sushi are fresh. Very efficient and friendly staffs. Always my favorite go to for Japanese in 1U.
You certainly get what you paid for! One of the best sushi I had in town for real. If one thing that I must pick on it’s the size of their maki which I find it too big for a mouthful and I have to bite them into half, having all the ingredients in it falling out.
Used to visit monthly for the past 4-5 years. Prices kept increasing until the last jump, it was no longer in the range where it is special and worth it. The recent set price jumped by 20-30%, then from August 2019 onwards, they are adding 10% service charge. So the sudden 40% price jump is too much. Something I used to dine for 2 set for 2 pax cost around RM50 ish, now its easily RM80. For RM80 range, I have much more better dining options elsewhere. Thank you for the great food all these years.
