Bidra med feedbackThe restaurant appeared to be a charming, high-end bistro, but the overall experience fell short. There were inconsistencies throughout our meal. Upon arrival, we had to request water, bread, and small plates when our appetizer arrived without anything to eat it on. Although I enjoyed a delicious Caesar salad and pricey wine, my main dish was not what I anticipated. The menu described duck prepared two ways with linguine on the side, but what I received was a pasta dish in a heavy cream sauce with duck leg pieces mixed in. I was disappointed as I rarely eat pasta and dislike cream sauces. I had taken my parents out for a meal, and while their dishes were tasty, several items did not match the descriptions on the menu.
We have visited Bistro 100 before and always enjoyed our meals, but this time we were disappointed. The food was just okay at best. There were only 2 specials available, and neither one impressed our group. The chicken dish was supposed to include wings and drumsticks, but one of our friends was given only drumsticks while her husband received both. The waitress was accommodating and our friend ended up ordering a hamburger instead, which was good but not outstanding. Despite the underwhelming food, the service was excellent and the quiet atmosphere on a Sunday evening made for a pleasant dining experience.
We really wanted to like Bistro 100, but we left disappointed... menu sounded great, food looked good, but the taste was just not there. Overcooked chicken. Undercooked vegetables. Brussel sprouts served too soon. Hope it was just an off night for the kitchen, because the ethos of the restaurant is inviting.
I made reservations just 30 minutes before arriving at the restaurant, but they had already closed their online reservation system. Many people likely drove there, parked, and then discovered they couldn't dine in. Additionally, I am concerned about the cleanliness of the kitchen.
Just a few minutes before booking they were not harassed to close the online reservation system when closed. how many people went there and parked and then had to find out that they couldn't eat and how dirty was the kitchen?
