Five Guys - Petaluma

Very pleasant experience here. Our burgers and pommes were fresh and tasty. It was an ingenious juicy burger with fresh toppings after a hard working day. The tables were clean and the building followed the suit. The bathroom was clean and had soap/paper towels. I'd be back in a heartbeat.

If one burger isn't enough, you might want to try five! This place truly delivers, and they make sure you know it by displaying all their reviews from various publications. From in-flight magazines to a random comment from a guy on the street in '96, their accolades are everywhere, which is a bit odd because you're already inside the restaurant reading them. Is it a way for diners to seek reassurance that they made the right choice? This establishment may be similar to others, but the staff here really goes above and beyond. I witnessed this at 9:30 a.m., just before closing, when they replaced old fries with fresh ones for a family of four. Be sure to try their Cajun fries, and if you're dining with someone, make sure they share them with you!

Friendly service. Amazing burgers, Amazing frits (I like the original type with ketchup) and their shakes are like legitimate homemade milkshakes! Large flavors available! The chocolate shake tastes like a hot fudgeshake from DQ. Much better than the processed shakes from the thrus drive. Open for walks when ordering during the pandemic!

The employees here are incredibly considerate. My brother ordered a milkshake that we intended to share, but as he left the store, I jokingly shouted after him not to drink it all. The cashier overheard me and quickly made a second milkshake, handing it to my dad as we were exiting to prevent any conflict. People like him truly restore my faith in humanity. His kindness and thoughtfulness are commendable, and he definitely deserves a raise. As for the food, the shakes and burgers were, as always, fantastic!

The hamburgers and fries were excellent. We ordered the smaller cheeseburgers, and they were more than enough for me. The buns held up nicely, which is quite important. The peanuts were a bit over-roasted for my taste, but overall, it’s a fantastic spot for a burger and fries. I’ll definitely have to try their milkshakes next time.
