Bidra med feedbackIf you’re looking for a bite to eat before your port tasting, you might want to stop by Aqus Cafe, which is just a short walk away. However, if you want to snack during your tasting, they do offer cheese boxes for sale in the tasting room. It’s advisable to make a reservation, as the tasting room welcomes guests only from Thursday to Sunday, between 12 PM and 5 PM. If traditional tawny ports aren't your thing, don’t worry! Sonoma Portworks also has unique offerings like their Chardonnay (light and fruity) and Rosé (floral and peppery) ports, perfect for summer sipping. We ended up buying a bottle of each. The more classic red blend ports were enjoyable too, with our favorite being the Petite Sirah Port. We also couldn't resist purchasing bottles of the Cask Reserve (jammy, spicy, and smooth) and the Maduro Reserve (deliciously tawny) ports. If you enjoy cooking, make sure to try their Sonomic Almost Vinegars in Red or Gold varieties. These non-alcoholic grape products make for fantastic secret ingredients in salads, cooked vegetables, and meats, and they are also delicious drizzled over fruits or cheeses. We found the prices to be quite reasonable. They have a wine club you can join, which requires a three-release commitment for the first year. Members enjoy discounts of 15% to 25% on orders and complimentary tasting fees, but there’s no pressure to join. We signed up because we knew we would want to purchase more of their fantastic products in the future. Our tasting experience with Murray was exceptional. He was knowledgeable and relaxed, and he answered all our questions with ease. We were having such a great time chatting with him that we completely forgot to sample the Deco Duet dessert wines, but that just gives us something to look forward to on our next visit. Cheers!
I highly recommend this place. We had our tasting with Amy, who was fantastic and incredibly knowledgeable about the various products and their production processes. We also received a tour of the production area. If you're in the area, definitely make a point to stop by!

I had an excellent experience with a $15 tasting flight that featured four port wines, a liqueur, and even some vinaigrettes. The customer service from Amy was exceptional—definitely 5 stars! If you're in the mood for something different from traditional reds, I highly recommend checking out Sonoma Portworks; it's the real deal!
Our tasting tour guide, Amy, was exceptionally friendly and professional. We enjoyed the experience so much that we decided to become members! I highly recommend visiting, especially for the vinegar tasting experience.
