We arrived at the restaurant a bit late, but were able to make it work by emailing our orders for the core dishes on the menu to the staff. The mini-bus carrying our group placed the orders, and the kitchen had them ready right on time once we arrived.

On a busy Saturday evening, the restaurant was understaffed which could have been avoided with proper management training to forecast and arrange for enough staff.

My husband and I have been today and had a lovely afternoon tea. We had the traditional option which included salad, sandwiches and a scone with jam and clotted cream. The only let down was the small cake which was probably brought in and tasted old. The staff were all lovely. The parking is not wonderful.

I often dine at this restaurant when staying at the hotel. The menu doesn't offer a wide variety, but the food is tasty and the staff are welcoming. The seating is not very comfortable as it is worn out and in need of replacement. You may not want to linger for too long, but it does make for a quick meal.

I have eaten here 3 time in the Red Bar Grill but it isn't a place I would chose unless they had a very attractive offer on. Even at weekends the restaurant is nearly empty and has a cold up inviting feel to it. Food good but the lack of any atmosphere or comforts doesn't make that worth the visit.
