Decent Restaurant - Petlād

04 October, 2016.I arrived at Vadodara airport in the late evening on 04 October,2016 from where my hosts whisked me away in their car, todinner, before dropping me off at my hotel. The Decent Restaurantis located close to the T-junction, which has the road to VallabhVidyanagar. The restaurant itself is neat and clean, and has animpressive decor, with some very reasonable rates, for the fooditems on offer. I requested my hosts to do the honours, as far asthe food selection went. The service was quite prompt, and with asmile. We started with some spicy Talumein soup, and masala papad.The request for food to be prepared without onion and garlic, washappily met. (One of my hosts does not partake of these items).The main course had a spicy thick curry with almonds, and aninteresting cottage cheese-based `Patiala Paneer'. We had it withtandoori roti (the ordinary tawa roti was not available).Overall, a delightful meal, in a peaceful ambience.

Visited with family ordered butter Naan, stuffed kulcha, masala papad, .. Kadhai paneer, vegetable pulao, jeera rice and dal fry. Lastly ended with buttermilk. Overall experience was average.

Whenever we have chance we visit this simple yet powerful restaurant especially to eat sizzlers, my family totally enjoys the food over there, food is good, less expensive and services are also good. I can take anyone over there.

As its name suggests, Decent Taste lives up to expectations. It's a great spot for parties and fun. The food is delicious, the staff is friendly, and the hospitality is top-notch.

Great vegetarian food, cozy atmosphere, fast service, and consistently reliable in Anand. This has been my favorite spot for the past 9 years.
