Bidra med feedbackThe first time here, the food was good, but not fresh as they advertised Lol (frozen chicken), but everything in everything was delicious. The Alfredo was as great as everyone said it was on the reviews before the visit and the Calzone was garganly big and definitely worth the money. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the restaurant was clean. And only so everyone knows before the time you have to order and pay first and then choose a place and they will bring the food to you. My family and I will definitely come back! So excited to live so close to this delicious place.
I'm a fan of Italian food, but always struggle finding a place that I love that remains consistent. Because of this place, my husband has found an appreciation for Italian food. He's in love with the shrimp alfredo. I'm a creature of habit so I typically order the baked ziti with meatballs but switched it up for a pepperoni and Italian sausage calzone. OMG!! I love a good cheese pull and I got just that. The flavor was off the charts! Parking is a bit tight, but takeout is an option. Definitely order online or call ahead. The food was ready as promised and it is still hot and fresh after the ride home.
I?ve been reading great reviews about this place so we gave it a try. Thursday night about 7:45. We were kind of disappointed because there was not a soul eating here but we stayed and were not disappointed. They do a great takeout business as we were witness to. We had fettuccine bolognese?excellent, true bolognese with a hint of cream served piping hot?we also had a sausage and pepperoni pizza ordered crispy, and it was! Also their Diet Coke was on point which is important to me. I always know when the lines haven?t been cleaned and their soda was perfect. The reason for the 4 stars is we were not given a knife. ???? We ordered a Caesar salad that didn?t have quite enough dressing. We would have ordered more but our waiter didn?t check on us in time and the third reason for the 4 is we got the dinner rolls after we got the entree. It would have been nice to have them with the salad. All these things are minor and easily fixed, the food really was excellent. Give them a shot, a nice hidden gem in Pflugerville.
The space was bright and clean. I got the Cannelloni, which was tasty. I liked that they were generous with the side of bread. A great little lunch spot.
After seeing some of the other reviewers' Calzones, I wanted to put Joe's to the test... the result: a perfectly toasted, slightly buttered crust with more filling than I've seen from anywhere else. The atmosphere is casual, but comfortable. Wish I lived closer, I'd come back!
