Lea Restaurant Bar - Philadelphia

The restaurant's location wasn't clearly indicated as being inside the Westin, which made it hard to locate. We made a lunch reservation intending to order just appetizers since we were heading to a Phillies game afterward. When we arrived, there was no one around to assist us until we had to call out. Eventually, we were informed that they only serve brunch on weekends, a detail that was not mentioned in their listing. Since we had already eaten breakfast, we decided not to stay. Overall, we were quite disappointed with their listing.

This restaurant offers a stylish, quiet, and clean environment for enjoying basic hotel coffee shop fare. The lobby staff were quite helpful, and while the servers were attentive, they could be a bit warmer and friendlier—perhaps they just need a bit more training. Overall, it's a good choice in a pinch!

The atmosphere is relaxed, making it a perfect spot for a quick meal. The menu is limited, but the service is excellent.

When I booked this restaurant I went off the menu and pictures on from here. When I got there after finally finding it (it’s a restaurant/bar inside the Westin) I was very hesitant and we contemplated going somewhere else. However, I’m very glad we did not. Our server, who I didn’t catch her name, was awesome. She gave a drink recommendation and advised to she add triple sec to take away the butter and she was right, the drink was delicious. We ordered the wings and they were very good. And I got the bacon cheddar burger, which was cooked perfectly. The dill pickle aioli was so good! Overall, don’t judge a book by its cover, cuz this one was worth the try.

When I made a reservation at this restaurant, I based my decision on the menu and the photos I saw. However, when I arrived after finally locating it (it's a restaurant/bar in the West), I felt a bit unsure and almost considered going somewhere else. I'm really glad I didn't! Our server, whose name I unfortunately didn't catch, was fantastic. She recommended a drink and suggested that I try the triple champagne to pair with my meal, and she was spot on—the drink was delicious. We ordered the wings, which were very tasty. I also had the Bacon Cheddar burger, and it was perfectly cooked, with an amazing Dill Pickle aioli. Overall, it taught me not to judge a book by its cover, as this place was definitely worth a visit.
