Sumo Sushi - Philadelphia

This is my favorite sushi place in the city! The Dancing Eel Roll is incredibly delicious, even though I'm not usually a big fan of eel. The Dragon Roll takes it to a whole new level with its freshness and flavor, far surpassing most traditional dragon rolls. The food usually arrives quickly, and the avocado and fish are consistently super fresh!

The Spicy Tuna Roll had an unusual fishy flavor, and the rice in all the rolls was a bit hard. The Shrimp Tempura Roll was enjoyable, while the Alaska Roll was just average.

Everything at Sumo is absolutely delicious. It's the best takeout sushi option in the city. The sashimi is sliced to perfection, and for the price, you won't find anything better! Items like ikura tamago, yellowtail, spicy tuna, hotate, and shumai are always on my speed dial.

The sushi and sashimi is always fresh and the portions are amazing! Best casual sushi spot for takeout in the city.

The sushi was good but the miso was fairly flavorless and the mochi paste was way too thick and dry to eat.
