The Original Turkey - Philadelphia

I visited on July 2nd expecting great food and customer service. Instead, I was treated worst than dirt, disrespected and denied service by Aaron Fournier, the so-called general manager. He showed prejudice and contempt for me as a customer. I ultimately left and will never return again.Food: 1/5

My go-to spot because I love turkey and thanksgiving plates. The place is on point every time. The wraps are my favorite, pick two up for lunch/dinner. Removing 1 star because the service is a little cold, but that just seems to be the Philly way. I'm coming from LA where every place greets you with a smile.

Went to Reading Terminal for lunch. Had a walk around and noticed them carving a toasted turkey. I decided to give it a try and I'm so happy that I did. The slices are thick and served warm. I just had it on a hoagie with Mayo and red onions. She even gave me a side of gravy to dip my sandwich in. My boyfriend had a pulled pork sandwich from a nearby restaurant that's quite popular and he said my sandwich was better : !!! Haha. Give this place a try. It really was delicious.

Ordered thinly sliced turkey for sandwiches at home. Presented me with very thick pieces. I returned the package. The person said that they made it as thin as possible and this time she wrapped the pieces so that I could not see the pieces. Opened package at home-same pieces that I rejected.

We ordered the Lunch Box which was turkey with 2 sides and it was fantastic! The turkey was fresh and the sides were filling (mac and cheese was particularly good) and it was a good value at around $11 each. Would definitely get again!
