Bidra med feedbackThe sandwich I ordered came with standard coleslaw, which was a disappointment. I just spent $13 on a cold fry and a soggy bucket of coleslaw that was supposed to be a pulled pork sandwich, but it had about half the pork and was mostly fat and gristle, which is just frustrating. I also inquired about the sauce but never received it.
I ordered the pulled pork sandwich, while two others in our group opted for the chicken sandwich. At $9 each, they seemed a bit pricey for just a sandwich, but they turned out to be generous portions and absolutely delicious! From the very first bite, we were impressed. One friend also ordered fries, which were served in a good-sized portion. The young man at the counter was very friendly, as was another gentleman we assumed was the manager or owner. Overall, we were glad we decided to stop and stay. A suggestion for improvement would be to stock more drinks in the cooler—preferably Coke instead of Pepsi—and to consider getting air conditioning or at least some good fans. With those changes, this place would easily earn a 5-star rating.
This is a great BBQ spot. The Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich is outstanding, and the brisket is flavorful.
It was “okay”. It wasn’t terrible but it wasn’t great. I ordered the Brisket Platter for $17 and it came with two pieces of meat, which one of the cuts was super fatty. The mac and cheese was bland and not pipping hot, decent. The cornbread was actually pretty good. Would get that side again. I felt I went early enough in the day that they should of had inventory on the ribs but I guess i missed the lunch rush and they were smoking more for the dinner rush. Small place inside so if you go expect to eat outside. For the price point and the portion I got there are a lot of other options around the area for the dollar you spend. I’ll give them another shot for their ribs.
RIPPED OFF!I ordered a HALF chicken platter with 2 sides. A HALF chicken by basic definition is 1 wing, 1 breast, 1 leg, and 1 thigh. It even says on their menu, under the description, 1/2 BIRD.What I got for $15.00 was ONE breast and 2 measley sides. When I inquired where the rest of the animal was, the guy behind the counter said their new chickens makes for ONE breast to equal a HALF chicken, meaning I am getting the same amount of meat as a HALF chicken by getting ONE breast. That is what they told me, point blank. When you advertise a HALF chicken meal, you expect to get HALF a chicken to eat. Not ONE breast because your new supply of chickens are apparently larger in size. What does a whole chicken order consist of? A breast and a leg?Go to Boston Market. At least they know what half a chicken looks like. Tastes better and cheaper too. It was my first time here, and it is the last time as well.
