Daawat Indian Cuisine - Phoenix

I absolutely adore this restaurant! It is a must-visit if you want to taste authentic Indian flavors. I visited Phoenix last month specifically to dine at this place. My family and I came to Arizona for a trip, and after we finished our travels, we made sure to visit this restaurant for some Indian cuisine. The Gongura mutton biriyani was outstanding. I am missing this food so much, even though we are now in Dallas and I can't find the same delicious taste here.

Daawat offers delicious and authentic South Indian cuisine at reasonable prices. The restaurant has a clean and cozy atmosphere, created by an Indian family which adds to its charm. While not fancy, the rustic and home kitchen feel is quite lovely. Daawat stands out in a sea of corporate American food franchises and is a bygone treasure. I highly recommend Daawat for their personal touch and delicious vegetarian options. The Masala Dosa and Chana Masala we ordered were excellent. I hope Daawat continues to prosper and remain a gem of a restaurant.

I have had good experiences at this restaurant in the past, but that has changed recently. During my last visit, the matar paneer was greasy and lacked flavor. On another occasion, they cancelled my order right after I placed it and did not respond to my calls. After these disappointing experiences, I have decided to try different restaurants. They have some potential as a hidden gem, but they definitely need to improve.

Daawat has delicious authentic South Indian cuisine! such a fun, authentic and delicious South Indian cuisine and enjoy inexpensive. it is clean and feels more like a family space, as it is made by an Indian family that we enjoyed very much. the place itself, while not imaginative, is more of a rustic, homely kitchen feel. It's pretty. this is almost a bygone shatz in the sea of American food franchises. I recommend daawat especially for her personal home kitchen and her vegetarian options. we ordered masala dosa and chana masala, both were excellent dishes. may they continue to whisper and be the beautiful jewel they are.
