Bidra med feedbackLarge brunching place that meets the brand on tasty brunch options, pastries, desserts and espresso based coffee options. Very clean, friendly, and comfortable place (inside and outside) to enjoy some good food.
What a place. Unassuming from the sidewalk, but then the place opens up to a old school rural diner vibe. In the cooler months, the outdoor eating space is really special, scented by blossoming citrus trees in the spring. We’ve had several things off the menu—both sweet and savory—and so far everything has been great. The folks behind the counter treat you like family and it’s dog friendly too!
I went in thinking I'd have something light or small. Took one look at the bakery counter and knew I'd need to come back. I had the breakfast sandwich and the citrus berry cake with cream cheese frosting. This cake is such a good balance of sweetness and creaminess. Then the citrus and berries come into play. It is dense and moist. I posted a video to maps to show how delectable it is. Everything was heavenly. Although it was warm, sitting on the covered patio (with misters) was nice. My husband had the monte cristo DELISH! I look forward to going back when I'm back in PHX.
Amazing. From a whole case of sweets to the breakfast sandwich that has more flavor than something three times its size, this is a central Phoenix must. It’s like if your cool sister opened a little place that you could bring anyone by to try great for a day off, with kids, a business meeting or whatever. Big patio for when the weather is right, and they are serious about spreading peanut butter but not COViD. Enjoy!
Visit this bakery right now. I am a sampler of cinnamon rolls around the world. From Scandinavia to Beijing I've mowed down flaky, delicious pastries. Ollie Vaughn's is at the top. Their cinnamon roll may not be doused in frosting, but it is perfection. The cakes and pastries look like they were made by Frodo's grandma and the prickly pear tea is perfect for a sunny Phoenix day. I bought more pastries to go. I hear the brownie is bomb too
