I ordered a fried chicken combo with macaroni and cheese. It was delicious! The mac and cheese was tasty and the hot sauce they offer is amazing. The coleslaw was also very good. I definitely plan on returning.

My husband visited this restaurant yesterday. He has been on a mission to try every place in Long Beach that sells chicken and waffles. When he saw they had them on the menu here, he was excited to try them. Despite being hesitant due to starting a keto diet, he asked the server about the meal. Unfortunately, the server did not mention they could accommodate his dietary needs, so he decided to leave after waiting for a few minutes. As a business owner himself, he values customer satisfaction and plans to give the restaurant another chance. We will update our review if he decides to try it again.

I placed an online order at this restaurant. They were out of a few items and had to replace them. Unfortunately, they ended up canceling my order altogether. I was really looking forward to trying their food, but now it looks like I won't get the chance. It's disappointing to see them waste forty minutes of my time and not fulfill their main job. To top it off, they were also rude. Good luck to them, although I'm not so sure they deserve it.

When I came into the facility, there were young lady at the theke she greeted us, allowed us to look at the menu to find out what we wanted, then a gentleman approached with a baby and when she reached for the baby she allowed to go over the theke and not disinfect her later while she sat on my order she came on the counter and slipped back on the foot. when I came home to eat my food, my greens were extremely salty, my yams were in order, my mac and cheese was stringy, and my fish had a cleaner taste on it as if someone had just wiped the prep area before they placed the fish to be bounced or seasoned. and something was in my yamacks I could not see a lot.

First impression is everything. Here's my first visit experience:The music, OMG!? Derogatory and very loud. A poor representation of such a nice place!As for the food, the catfish was seasoned to perfection but could be fried just a bit longer. Unfortunately, the cornbread muffin was nearly burned. The Dirty rice was dry and cold.Staff lagged and chatted as if there weren't any customers waiting on orders. Young lady at front desk proceeds to put on gloves, then, reached into her pocket and checked her cell phone while preparing to-go plates, cross contaminating from her phone directly to a cornbread muffin. Also, Cross contamination with serving utensils gathered and used from a single container instead of being placed within each specific side item. What if a customer's allergic to a particular side dish?It's a nice establishment. The setup is inviting and I personally love the green grass wall. There is definitely some work needed in both professionalism and safer food practices.
