We visited this restaurant several times and always paid in cash. However, shortly after Christmas, we brought the family and paid with a credit card. On the bill we received to sign, there was an area where we could leave a tip. We didn't fill that in, but we did leave a substantial cash tip. When we got home, we noticed that a 15% service charge had been added to the bill. I can’t recall if that charge was included when I signed the receipt, but if it was, then why provide a space for a tip? It seems misleading. Although the food was good, we won't be returning to a place that operates this way. Is it really worth losing a customer over this? You just did.
