Italian Grill Pizzeria - Picayune

Best pizza and definitely the BEST calzone ever! This place certainly knows Italian food! It is consistently friendly, professional, and an overall delicious place to bring out of towners to in order to let them see that Picayune has great Italian food!

The wife and I had dinner here on Monday night. I wish I could say it was worth stopping in to eat but it was not. The wife had the Eggplant Parmesan and I had a pizza. The eggplant was frozen and stuck together so when it was dropped in the grease to fry it, the outside was cooked and the bread crumbs in between the two pieces of eggplant was soaked with oil and not cook. The Pizza was just average,not sure what to say about it. When you have on your menu that the pizza sauce and dough are made fresh daily, I'm expecting something other then just average. The wait staff was very friendly.

We came in at 1:31 pm today to try the new restaurant. We stood at the front for ten minutes. No one came to seat us. No one was working on the floor. We are at the other restaurant all the time. The service was never great there but the food was good. Today very few dining and no hostess??

Best pizza in town hands down. Fresh ingredients and lasagna is great as well! We eat here at least once a month'

The food is excellent, and the pizza is the best! However, the service can be slow, and it's difficult to get seated during peak times. I've even had to leave after waiting at the door for several minutes without being acknowledged, while others who arrived after us were also left ungreetered.
