Island Mix Lounge - Pickering

Amazing place for West Indian food up in Pickering. Cheap wings on Tuesday. I've had their garlic chicken, with veggie fried rice very spicy. Wings are a decent size. Serve is good as well as the crowd. Will be trying there jerk chicken and their chilli chicken next time. Goat curry was good as well.

First of all, one of the most awesome places to watch the NBA Finals if I've ever seen one. Every single TV was on the game and they have plenty of TV's. You could hear the game sound and everyone there responded. <br/ <br/ The only reason that I didn't give it a 5 is because the service wasn't all that great. It could have just been a one-time deal, but our server constantly passed our table without refilling drinks. It got frustrating to constantly ask for refills two or three times before getting them.<br/ <br/ As for the food, the pepper shrimp appetizer was amazing! I've never experienced anything like it. It was the most enjoyable part of dinner. We also tried the jerk chicken and the jerk BBQ chicken. I'm not much for onions, so the jerk chicken didn't do a whole lot for me although it was good. The BBQ was another story. The saucy taste with the meaty wings really made for an enjoyable experience.<br/ <br/ I'm only in town for four days, but I will definitely find my way back to Island Mix. The Long Island Iced Tea was awesome as well!

Went to the restaurant on Sunday afternoon (Easter Sunday). Was nice and quiet. Service was good. Waitress was attentive. Food was delicious.

The food is not bad the curry chicken was good. the food is just normal, i have ate at better Caribbean restaurant.

I had a really good time. It was my wife's birthday and we had an incredible experience. The food was amazing, service was nice.
