The Kitchen - Pietermaritzburg

The food here is outstanding! The staff is wonderful and provides exceptionally friendly service, making this place highly recommended. The Chicken Tikka is tender and perfectly seasoned, while the Chicken Biryani is simply delightful. They also offer a selection of Chinese dishes and have a coffee machine on-site. Since the food is freshly prepared, it does take some time, but you can choose to order and pick it up or have it delivered.

The best dining spot in PMB! I've tried many restaurants around PMB, but this one truly stands out as the king of them all. Be sure to sample their chicken tikka, biryanis, or curries. I've heard nothing but great things about it from Durban to Johannesburg. Ash and Ayushya are excellent hosts who make you feel welcome. It's also worth noting that the restaurant is quite popular with locals, so you can call ahead to place an order. And yes, they serve the best rabbit in KZN!

I’ve only tried the butter chicken, so I can’t comment on other dishes. However, I wasn’t impressed with the quality and portion size, especially when compared to tandoori places in PMB that charge twice as much.

I just enjoyed a wonderful meal from The Kitchen in Hilton. The bean curry and rotis were absolutely delicious. Thank you!
