Dick's Last Resort Pigeon Forge

We visited this restaurant to celebrate our son's 10th birthday, which we mentioned in our reservation. Unfortunately, the service was lackluster; our waitress seemed uninterested. It took over an hour for our food to arrive, and when it finally did, it was cold. Additionally, my husband's hat had the same slogan as the one worn by the person sitting next to us. Overall, the experience just didn’t compare to some of the other places we’ve been to.

Dick's Last Resort offers a truly unique dining experience! It's not suitable for those who lack a sense of humor or who might take offense at some teasing, as the atmosphere is all in good fun. We celebrated my son's 16th birthday there, and it's an occasion he'll always remember! Our waiter, Dan, was fantastic! He was a bit taken aback when we suggested covering my son in whipped cream, but he happily went along with it! Thank you all for an amazing time! I highly recommend it for a night filled with laughter!

This was our first and last experience at Dick's. After waiting an hour to be seated, our order was inadvertently delivered to another table before being picked up, returned to the kitchen, and finally brought back to us a few minutes later. We witnessed the entire process. When I addressed the issue with our waitress, Cassandra, she was dismissive and rude. The manager came over and claimed that what we had seen didn’t actually happen, but he offered to bring us a new order if we wanted. Concerned about the treatment of our new order after our complaint, we opted to decline. Cassandra continued to be extremely unhelpful, which felt completely unjustified. The food we received was dry, as if it had been sitting out for a long time, and it was definitely not freshly prepared. Additionally, two of our meals were missing from the bill, and Cassandra hastily scribbled over the tip section on the receipt. In the end, I still ended up paying almost $80 for a terrible meal. Prior to the food debacle, we had been enjoying ourselves with the hats and having fun, so it was disappointing for both my husband and me to conclude our experience this way.

We went to Dick’s to celebrate a teenage boys 16th birthday. Waitress wasn’t snarky or anything. Hats we were given we lamest of all around. Food was overpriced and mediocre. So wanted to celebrate but ended up waiting and waiting and waiting for our food. The wait for the food, the non celebratory birthday, everything was a huge disappointment. I will not eat there ever again.

We went to this restaurant only for our two grandchildren, ages 9 and 12. We had taken them to the Dick's Last Resort in Gatlinburg last year and they had so much fun. That was not the case this time. We arrived at 600pm and that may have been too early but we were seated at a long table with no one else sitting there. Our waitress seemed very uninspired. She made none of the brash, insulting remarks that we experienced last year or other tables were enjoying. She simply took our orders and spent a lot of time making our hats. The hats were humorous but that was the extent of any humorous interaction. Eventually two other couples were seated at our table but I noted she treated them the same way as she did us. Incidentally the food was not particularly good and certainly overpriced. I would never, ever go back to this restaurant. Was very disappointed we had not driven down to Gatlinburg.
