No Way Jose's Cantina - Pigeon Forge

The restaurant had a nice decor and the food was tasty. It seemed like our server was either working solo for the first time, but we're not sure. Unfortunately, we didn't receive the food we ordered but after waiting 45 minutes, we decided to eat it anyway because it still tasted good. I had to ask for a refill on my drink once. The bill got mixed up with the table next to us, but we were able to sort it out ourselves. The waitress eventually corrected the mistake, but ended up charging us extra for the wrong meal. However, we understand it was her first night. Since we are from out of town and don't have the opportunity to give them another chance, we have decided not to return.

We experienced a 35-minute wait at this restaurant, which was packed and bustling. We assumed the food would be good based on the busy atmosphere, but we were mistaken. It would have been helpful to read the Google reviews beforehand. Our server seemed rushed and immediately requested our drink and meal orders. While everyone around us received chips and salsa, we were left waiting. It seemed like our server wasn't fond of us. Despite ordering before other patrons, our food took a long time to arrive. We ordered veggie fajitas, a Mexican pizza, a cheese quesadilla, and a veggie burrito, but the limited veggie options disappointed us. The food was so unappetizing that we couldn't bring ourselves to eat it. Instead of complaining, we decided to forgo the meal and requested the check. When our server asked if we wanted a to-go box, we expressed that the food tasted stale. She assured us she would pass on the feedback to the kitchen. Overall, our experience was disappointing and we would not return to this establishment. We advise others to seek a truly authentic Mexican dining experience elsewhere.

The Mexican food at this restaurant was very bland and lacked any spice. The taco salad did not have enough taco seasonings on the beef, and the cheese used was strange. The overall taste of the food was dull, and the noise from the servers in the backcorner was disruptive. Overall, I was very unsatisfied with my experience.

First came here in 2015. Food was fantastic. There use to always be a wait to get in. Last couple of times it's been ok at best. Queso is just melted white cheese. No diced jalapeños or anything in it. Ground beef tacos were like Taco Bell. Didn't tasteauthentic at all. Nice place, nice service, but they need to amp up the flavor to what it use to be. The Gatlinburg location ismuch more consistent.

Good and friendly service, nice decor the food wasn't really good to me, looked good though,whoever heard of making an enchilada with a flour tortilla I ordered enchiladas not burritos would not recommend going here and I will not go back actually I got alittle sick. And here's a pic of the chips I was offered until they bought a fresh basket. I do not live in the area I wasvisiting,the worst Mexican food I ever had and I thought I had bad before this was by far the worst.And no running water in therestroom to wash hands.
