Lisi Italian - Pinehurst

Location, atmosphere, service, food and wine were excellent! The staff was knowledgable and generous with their time. It was a relaxed atmosphere of people you could tell appreciated the food and effort by the restaurant. The food was authentic but I think enjoyable for any Italian food lover. It was our first visit but will now be our go to Italian spot!

Portions are big enough for lunch the next day. My wife got large fresh shrimp in her scampi and flavors were excellent with spices not overstated. Tough to find good Italian food in this part of NC but this place is a 9 out of 10. Good service. We will return.

Seriously the best restaurant experience I have had in years! The starters and entrees were so delicious, and the portions were huge! It was Memorial Day weekend and even on the busy holiday the service was phenomenal! Warm and welcoming, Jim made us feel at home in his restaurant. It felt like we had been eating there for years even though it was my first visit. Pro tip: as challenging as it can be you MUST save room for their dessert menu.

Dined in twice, and did take-out once. Great wine selection. Good dipping olive oil. First two meals had pasta, and it was good. Last meal was a chicken milanese. It was a bit tough and a little too salty.

We got takeout but look forward to trying the outdoor seating when the weather cools. The stars of our order we?re the meatballs, the Lisi Pizza, and the Cannoli. The pasta portion of the meal wasn?t cooked how we typically like it, so next time we know to get the meatballs appetizer. Looking forward to trying some other things on their menu as well!
