Smokin' Butts Bbq - Pioneer

I stopped here for lunch after seeing the signs near the truck stop. Arriving I was a little scared seeing the ran down rides and little building. Don’t let this fool or scare you. This was the best BBQ I have ever had, and I am a BBQ enthusiast. The flavor of the smoke was perfect. The home made BBQ sauce should be bottled and sold across the country. The French fries are to die for with his custom made seasoning. Fried okra was unlike any I have ever had, like it was hand cut and freshly battered. The guy who owns it is very approachable. He told us stories of the closed theme park and history of the area. Someone needs to make this a nation wide BBQ chain quick. As a truck driver, I will always make this my stop when driving through the area on 75. My only regret was not ordering more for dinner.

We found this place while working in the area. That week we stopped by 3 different times. This week I drove 45 MInutes just to eat there again. The bbq is smokey full of flavor. The sides are always hot and fresh and made to order. Amd the prices are great. The oirtions are huge and the owners are always welcoming. Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner
