Bidra med feedbackWe had the vegetarian sampler (without the feta) and couscous royal. we both separated, and because the couscous came with lens soup, we had enough rest for another meal. they made the food. it had a little more oil and salt than I used, but I think most would not notice it. have I overheard the server/owner? tell someone they can bring their own beer/winning without being charged a cork fee.
Tasty, well prepared and presented food from around the Mediterranean. Great service, terrific ambience and a peek of the ocean. Outside patio would be the place to be on a warm afternoon. Looking forward to many meals there and I hope to try the other location in San Luis Obispo sometime
This restaurant serves fantastic Moroccan dishes. While not completely vegan, there are vegan options available on the menu. We tried the couscous royale as an appetizer, as well as the spicy vegan rarghifat and falafel fingers with hummus. The portions were large, so even though the prices were high, each dish could easily be shared by two people. The appetizers also came with lentil soup and bread. We ordered an appetizer and two entrees for the two of us, but couldn't finish everything and ended up taking a lot home for another meal. We also ordered the Moroccan mint tea, which is a must-try for those looking to experience a different culture. It had a unique taste, with one Yelp reviewer describing it as similar to Wrigley's mint gum, which is actually a compliment. The mint tea was served in a beautiful pot with small glasses. The food was delicious and unlike anything we had tried before, making it one of the best meals we've had. The decor of the restaurant was Moroccan-inspired and beautifully done, with pleasant Moroccan music playing in the background. The location is close to the beach, and we recommend sitting on the terrace if the weather is nice, as you can catch a glimpse of the ocean. The restaurant is easy to spot due to its bright blue covers. However, finding the entrance from the parking lot (which is private) was a bit tricky, as it is located on the street side and not well-marked. A sign directing guests from the parking lot to the entrance would be helpful.
We were thrilled to discover this gem in Pismo Beach. From the appetizers to the tangine entrées, we thoroughly enjoyed every dish. Although they do not offer wine, they allow you to bring your own without any corkage fee. This will definitely become a regular dining spot for us.
There are plenty of vegan options at this restaurant, clearly labeled and bursting with vibrant and delicious flavors.
