Sango Japanese Restaurant

I had a great late lunch with friends at this restaurant. Despite being busy, we were seated promptly in their enclosed dining area, making us feel like VIPs. Our server was friendly and regularly checked on us. The food we ordered was beautifully presented and delicious. Although a bit pricey, it was definitely worth it.

I had lunch today and tried the Godzilla Roll, and it was delicious. I enjoyed the sweet, tangy, and slightly spicy sauce. The flavors all blended together very well. I'm excited to try another roll soon. The prices are a bit lower compared to other restaurants at the same price point. The service was excellent, with attentive servers. The ambiance of the place is also great, especially the interior design.

First time here and i was completely surprised. The place is clean, the staff are friendly and very competent. The food was fantastic. Beef udon, tiger rolls, sushi, seaweed salad etc. Order anything.. you wont be disappointed.

We always enjoyed eating at the Sango and were concerned when it changed hands. But, now under new ownership, it is even better. We usually come for lunch and order the lunch box specials which are good value and comes with a pleasing variety of delicacies.

We had never been to Sango before, but we decided to try it for lunch as we were passing by. The lunch combo tray for $13 was delicious and had a good variety of options. My wife and I liked that there were many combo tray choices to pick from. If someone didn't want a combo tray, there were plenty of other options available. The waitress, a young girl with a ponytail, was friendly and attentive. She checked if we needed any help understanding the meal and made sure we were enjoying our food. She also kept our complimentary green tea topped up. The food arrived quickly. Although the restaurant was small, similar to a tea house, parking was easy and the washrooms were clean. While I can't speak for the other menu options or dinner service, our experience was great. Thumbs up!
