Samurai X Sushi Teriyaki - Pittsburg

This is the best Japanese Restaurant here in Pittsburg. We've been there customers for 9 years. All the foods are good, especially all the sushis. They are packed well. I highly recommend this place.

Sunset roll was soooo good! Both the spicy tuna and spicy salmon(hand roll) was so fresh. They are not Stingey with portions either. Very filling, fresh, and delicious.

Everything was great Spicy Tuna hr was huge and the spicy Beef Udon soup was delicious: the flavor of the soup was amazing! We also got free edamame which was so kind of the restaurant : Thanks again Samaurai x sushi Teriyaki !

This is my favorite sushi place ever! Have been coming here since my husband and I first started dating 8 years ago and have never been disappointed.

Mediocre at best and three stars almost feels generous. Sushi rice was particularly poor super sticky and flavorless and didn't seem like the real short grain. Fish was okay though. Packaging seemed low end using aluminum foil. Lemon on sashimi wasn't appreciated as one of us doesn't like lemon on their fish. Soy sauce very salty. Lemon slices on 49er roll have to be super thin to work no one wants to eat wedges of lemon. So all in, meh.
