China King Buffet - Pittsburgh

It's been said that this restaurant has gotten a new owner recently. If that's the case, all I know is that there is more food on the buffet than there has been in quite a while and the service was fantastic. There are such a fantastic selection on this buffet that there's no way that you can go there and not find something great to eat The price here is just so affordable and it's a very busy place.

I tipped 2 dollars (meal was 10) because they didn’t refill my drink or give me napkins but I still tipped and they added 10 dollars on on top of that without my consent. Check your credit card charge or make sure to pay with cash only.

Well well well…I’ve been coming here since I was young. First when it was a ponderosa,then china king. This buffet has finally redeemed itself. Previous management seemed like they were just tired and didn’t care anymore. The new management is amazing,staff is amazing, food is back to being hot and fresh!! Buffet looks great and inviting! Please keep this up! It’s back to feeling like the 90s again! There are barely any buffets around anymore! Bring china king back to its glory days by keeping this new found determination up!! It was sooooo goood! New floor were a nice touch! Now get the tables together next and your on your way!

The prices went up, no big deal, the food quality and taste seems to be diminishing, not good. The parking lot less than half full week day afternoons. Under staffed, slow service. I hope they work it out.

This place was never the greatest but it has gotten worse since it changed hands. The new owner said the kitchen staff are all the same but the food tastes different. The normally flavorful hot and sour soup and green beans were bland and the dumplings were raw inside. Not to mention the nasty bathroom and dirty overall appearance that always made it an iffy choice to begin with.
