The Pub Chip Shop - Pittsburgh

I hadn't visited this restaurant in a few years and was really looking forward to returning. However, I was disappointed to find that they no longer offer dining in. To make matters worse, the food this time was also a letdown. Everything seemed to lack flavor. I'm hoping this was just an off day, as I used to really enjoy this place.

My family and I are in Pittsburgh for a baseball tournament, and we were looking for some great food. We hit the jackpot at the Pub Chip Shop! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the food was the best we've experienced on this trip. You absolutely have to try the garlic dill mayo with their fries—it's amazing! The donuts were among the best my family and I have ever tasted! Although we probably won’t be back in Pittsburgh anytime soon, this place will definitely be on our list for our next visit!

This place is wonderful! The food is made to order, so it's always fresh—just be prepared to wait a few minutes for some delicious items. As an Englishman who loves fish and chips, I can confidently say that it's worth the wait. The chips aren't the traditional thick-cut English style, but they come pretty close and taste fantastic!

I think this is my favorite place in Pittsburgh for fish and chips and the like. Their fried chicken, fish, and fries were very crispy and they had some unique sauces. The customer service is nice. No dine in right now. I also enjoyed their boxty tots. Ihaven't really tried their sandwiches or baps, but it seems like everyone was ordering them, so maybe I'll try it next time. TheThai chili tacos were good too. Overall, would highly recommend if you would like something fried. The wait times might be a bitlonger depending on how many people have ordered, but it's worth the wait. The amount of food is also pretty good.

We ordered the surf and turf main dish, and I have to say, it was some of the best fish and chips I've ever had! The chicken was incredibly juicy and tender—absolutely delicious! I'll definitely be returning. The staff was super nice and friendly, and they even offered us donuts, which were unbelievable! I can't wait to try every flavor!
