Bidra med feedbackIf you avoid the central square, with its plethora of 100 covered bars-restaurants, you will find the Ticino ice cream parlor in an area just more relaxed by the classic tourist circuit (but more authentic). the bar is small and real, with very few covers; I can't imagine that its customers are also local, given the location, quiet and size collected. here I met emanuele, kind and friendly owner, who prepared me at the moment (and allowed me to attend the preparation) two truffles: a classic chocolate and hazelnuts and a reprocessing with pistachio. the ice cream itself is great, prepared with first quality materials, the transformation in the famous truffle exalts everything: more delicate the one at the pistachio, more decided the classic one. the portions are generous (it was enough for me as lunch). the expense was on average and justified by the quality and quantity. I tried more, but for now it's the best lace truffle I tasted!
The best hornet lace truffle, without if and without ma. outside the tourist circuit of the main square, not far from the church of San francesco, there is this small family run ice cream shop, which remains a little hidden from the view, but which really deserves a stop in one of the few outdoor tables. the truffle is prepared at the moment and it is also possible to attend the preparation! when we saw the young emanuele at work, we realized that the most blasphemous ice creams in the city, especially those with 50 seats, can not make this ice cream at the moment: It is practically impossible if the place is full! we tried the classic truffle, chocolate and Piedmont hazelnuts (they are igp and you feel), as well as the variant to pistachio, very delicate. there are two other possibilities: white truffle (with fior of milk and caramel) and that with hazelnuts and cream. the place is small, but it is not a handicap but a guarantee of quality: There are few goats, but one more good than the other! emanuele is always willing to chat, explains how the truffle was born in the '50s and what are the values that his family, in the preparation of this delicacy, is still handed down! take two more steps and come to get the real lace truffle!
I highly recommend that it is a characteristic small nice place, located along the street of the old town where the owners with their friendliness and passion present us the lace truffle while they do it in front of our eyes. exquisite! never tasted such a good truffle!
