Selvin's Latin Cuisine - Plano

This is definitely a hidden gem!! The food is AMAZING and service is GREAT! Big portions with lots of flavor! I've been back 3 times in a month and have not been disappointed.

We drove from The Colony to Selvin's because the reviews and photos looked good and they didn't disappoint. This is a great find in Plano, right off the 75. Everything was great, the ambience, the food, and the service. We ordered a combination of garnachas appetizers, tamal, pupusas and carne guisada. All tasty and yummy. We'll come back for churrasco and caldos.

First time and wow. Everything was great. Authentic food made with love, great service, clean and modern restaurant. They even had live music on Sat night which was really nice. Our new favorite restaurant. I can't wait to bring our friends here. The best!!

Hidden away in a strip mall off of 75. The place is nicely decorated and has a homey feel. When you say Central American food , most people in the area probably think of Gloria 's. Selvin 's, however is 10x better in terms of food quality and the types of food offered. The menu focuses mostly on Guatemalan and Salvadorian cuisine, with a couple Tex-Mex offerings for the less adventurous. Overall, the food flavor is on point and the prices are reasonable. The service is also quick, attentive and friendly. Highly recommend.

From the minute we walked in, the service and food was exceptional. We ordered the yuca fries and plátanos, which were very delicious. Our waiter was attentive and never let our water and drinks run low. I recommend the agua de cocombros for a refreshing drink. My sister is vegan and they accomodated the pupusas made out of vegetables and no cheese. We were too full to order desert but the plátanos con crema were phenomenal. The chef also came out and made sure our Meal was well prepared. We will definitely be back For such sweet service and delicious Latin food!
