Bidra med feedbackStopped by Tani’s this afternoon for some dessert. This was my first visit. They have a great menu with lots of options. We had coffee, pecan pie and banana foster. The server that greeted us explained the menu and the dessert option. While reviewing the menu, Lloyd came out to greet us and asked us about ourselves and gave some great insight. When we finished out dessert, he brought out a sample of the key lime pie which was fantastic. It’s a great environment with great food and great people. We will definitely be back again.
Pretty good! Went for lunch and the salad was not very good. The pizza lasagna was great though! Creme brûlée was okay and the coconut creme pie was fantastic!
Tonight, we visited the extension of the restaurant and were welcomed to enjoy dessert inside. We started with coffee ($2.25) and cappuccino ($3.50). For dessert, we opted for the special of the day: a lemon blueberry mini-filled cake topped with raspberry sauce, a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream, and a dollop of whipped cream ($8.00). The cake featured a light lemon flavor complemented by fresh blueberries, with a soft interior and just the right amount of crunch on the outside. It struck the perfect balance between sweet and tart, and I could easily order it again and again. We also tried the bread pudding with a bourbon sauce and a bowl of vanilla bean ice cream ($6.25). The pudding had the ideal consistency with a lovely vanilla flavor, and the bourbon sauce was light and delicious. The service was warm and friendly, and the pace was just right. The café is beautifully set up with tables for two or four, adorned with white tablecloths and linen napkins. The classic rock, soul, and R&B music played at a perfect volume, allowing for pleasant conversation. The menu includes a variety of cakes, crepes, coffee, espresso drinks, sodas, and a selection of wines priced between $6 and $8.75 per glass. This charming dessert café has won us over, and we can't wait to return and share it with friends and family.
I visited this place tonight for a quick dessert and was surprised to find that it was a sit-down restaurant, which was different from what I expected. However, the atmosphere was really cool and perfect for the occasion. I will definitely return, as both cakes were amazing and absolutely worth the price.
I love this place. I go at least once a week and I'm never disappointed. (unless they're out of cinnamon rolls)
