La Verbena - Playa del Carmen

Visited for lunchtime drinks with my boyfriend and our dog. The waiters were super friendly and chatty we enjoyed some beers and micheladas and our doggy enjoyed some water and attention from the staff. The botanas were really tasty and a rare sight in...touristy Playa del Carmen these days. Great atmosphere, we will be back for sure.

I come here every 3 times in the week because this is the best place to eat good and drink good, they have live music every day and the mood is amazing! the service is the best in playa I recommend this place to all

La verena is a chillout pub with great music and cold design beer (modelo,) comfortable garden and a good food (it is a pub not a restaurant) still great for people who want to go with friends to conversate and have some good time. it has a beautiful garden and many plants that make a great place to be. highly recommended.

La verena is a cozy place on 34. straight from fifth, but it seems further away. good choice, large service and cost-effective prices. a local is safe, but very welcoming from all.

I have been to La Verbena so many times since I moved to Playa, I can say is one of my favourites bars, worth the visit if you are passing by Playa del Carmen. Good to go with friends or by yourself. Is this small...cozy bar with a second floor, all wooden made, decorated with plants and art. I just love the vibe and the music they play, can be very chill and sometimes it can turn into a party place specially on weekends, sometimes they have live music or dj sets for events. Cheap beer and since is a snack bar they give you free snacks popcorn, chips, pico de gallo, etc) when you are ordering drinks. They have a food menu as well, Ive tried their pizza and wings, decent price decent flavour nothing too special. Service is good, can get slow if it is a busy night, but the servers are very nice and friendly. Also a great place to start before hitting the night life in Playa
