Grainery - Pleasant Plains

We have had good meals from here before but tonight sucked! My meal was lukewarm and tasted ok. My husband's fish was horrible. He said it was fried in oil that was not warm enough and the breading on the fish was minimal. This was on top of waiting far too long to get our food. We took home some fish to my mom and the meal was disappointing. The amount of walleye given for the price was vastly different from what we used to get. It is obvious corners are being cut or the cook needs to be fired. On the up side the service was great!

For a small town west of Springfield I'll it's gem. Very good food with a varied menu.

The service was excellent, but the food was just average. I tried one of the daily specials, and it didn't wow me. I've had better Mexican cuisine at other places.

Excellent food for a small-town restaurant! I was pleasantly surprised by the variety on the menu. The establishment was clean, and the service was outstanding. Everyone loved their meals, and the prices were quite reasonable.

Stopped in with my sons whole baseball team. We had at least 30 people in our group. They were quick with our drinks and refills! Appetizers came out fast. We couldn't pass up the chance to get some Cajun crawfish. So glad we did cause they were awesome!! Bacon cheeseburgers and the tenderloin seemed to be a big hit with our group. We would definable you go back again if we are in the area!
