Food For Thought - Pocatello

Used to love going here years ago at their old location. I hadn't eaten here since they've had their new location because I live in Boise now... My mom wanted this for lunch while I was home taking care of her after a surgery.... It's just as good as I remember! The chef's salad is great, but what takes it to the next level is their homemade bleu cheese dressing. Nirvanaaaaa. Listen, I'm THAT girl. How good things like sauces and dressings are literally ARE what sets places apart. Best bleu cheese dressing in Pocatello!!!

Small place, nice people, good sandwich but a little pricey for me.

So yummy! We just bought two Cobb salads after doing without for years! So fresh, refreshing and simply delicious! Yummy!

Food For Thought is a great addition to Old Town with sandwich, soup, and salad options. The owners are very hospitable and want you to have a pleasant dining experience. There is a dining room in a separate building in the back with outdoor seating available. They even are willing to cater.

I have been driving by Food For Thought for years, but I never had a job with a lunch that was during their business hours. I finally got to try these guys out and their salads are AMAZING! Both gentlemen that waited on me the two times I have been were so friendly. If you are looking for a lunch time option that is healthy, fresh, and very well priced, Food For Thought is your answer! I will definitely be a repeat customer from now on!
