Point Lookout Bowls Club

I called to make a reservation for dinner yesterday evening just a few minutes after 7 PM, but the kitchen had already closed. Even though they were still serving customers, they were not taking any new orders.

We always visit the bowls club during our annual Straddie vacation! The drinks are cold, the food is good, and the ping pong table kept the kids entertained.

I was very disappointed with my experience. Their website states that the kitchen closes at 8 PM, but when we arrived at 7 PM, we were informed that they were already closing due to a lack of customers. We won’t be returning to this restaurant again.

Very pleasant place to have a cold drink in hot weather.

Arrived at 6:40 for a 7pm booking and although the table was clearly vacant with our name on it and there less than 20 people in the restaurant we were told to wait... The actual menu was significantly different from the online menu and quite disappointing, but we found something that looked promising, however when we eventually went to order we were told.. Sorry we're not taking any more orders at the moment as the Chef is stressed... needless to say we walked out and won't be back... very poor
