Bidra med feedbackThe round pizza was good. Much better than the rough fat of the spring lake pizza. Easy to pick up and very light and airy. That means it is balanced for my taste buds. Too much light/fancy bread taste and not enough tomato sauce/cheese. I could totally see why some people love it, but it's not a round pizza I'd long. However, the place is fully balanced and tasty. It's easy to eat too many slices. The separately ordered meatballs are a 10/10 and the thicker tomato sauce on the pizza was really good. Definitely get the meatballs when I go back. Some of the low reviews here to read are quite funny. It is a pizza shop, the owner is not entitled to treat you your special kind.
Pizza is delicious but like always it should be consumed fresh out of the oven but because they do not have dine in options at the moment you will get pizza box taste syndrome. Will try when you can dine in.
Got a square pie for my wife and I with spinach and pepperoni. Really good pizza especially for being in a box for 10 minutes, it was still crunchy and the sauce they use it phenomenal.
I finally made it here this past summer but I knew I had to get here well before then just by the look of the pizza. The sweetness of the wheat, the tang from the sourdough, the fluffiness from the yeast, the tenderness from possibly some fat, and a long fermentation give this crust it’s exceptional flavor and texture. The pizza is topped with perfectly balanced tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, a sharp cheddar-like cheese, fresh garlic, pecorino Romano, and a rich olive oil. These exquisite toppings give this pizza a unique, delicious, savory, buttery taste and addictive texture. The bite to the cheese on a light, thin, flavorful crust will make you think the pie is a personal size, it's just too easy to eat the whole thing yourself, and not because of the airiness of the crust, but thanks to its overall heavenly flavor. It makes you just want more and more, even when you’re full. I’m sure it’s very stressful controlling all the variables to ensure this high quality pizza comes out consistently each day, especially on top of their popularity, so just have some patience. Adults need to behave and stop complaining about the service like I see people on here doing. There is nothing wrong with it, they are just extremely busy, stressed-out artisans and that’s how it should be, that’s how you know you’re someplace good. Appreciate it. And yes, this bread will caramelize on the way to being charred but that’s just how you extract this flavor. Go to an artisanal bakery and see what I’m talking about. Stop comparing it to the dry, pale, golden crust of your standard childhood pizzeria, grow up.
Absolutely deserves a 5-star rating! I apologize for the comparison, but Dave from A Bite Pizza would likely rate this an 8.9 instead of an 8.5. The pizza was flawless in every aspect, topped with onions and fresh basil leaves. The crust was incredibly light yet cooked to perfection, giving it just the right amount of crunch. Can't wait to come back!
