The Wharfside Seafood Patio

Had a job in Town and decided to stop here for lunch. Wow! It was great!! Food was excellent, service was very friendly, atmosphere and views are amazing and the price is very reasonable. I'm sure it gets very busy and loud during the season, but off-season is very cozy....and one of the best chowders I've ever had!!

It was my first time at Warfside. My husband 's close friend treated us for lunch around 1pm on Saturday. The fritters were extremely delicious we actually ordered a second basket. We ordered the garlic shrimp as an appetizer which was exceptional. The flavor of the sauce was to die for honestly a 10/10. Definitely a must if you like garlic with a little kick. The downfall I was debating between the hot lobster roll or the scallop and shrimp pasta. Unfortunately, I went with the pasta HUGE mistake. The pasta was cooked well but the dish itself was heavy and bland. The seafood contents were cooked fine but the only flavor that came to mind was butter. I let everyone at the table try the pasta and they all said the same thing butter . The combination of flavors if you will is definitely a hard no. I would not recommend it. My stomach is still bothering me and I only had 3 bites . I took the pasta home hoping to fix it up but my stomach said otherwise so to the trash it went. My suggestion would be to use a sauce similar to the garlic shrimp sauce and completely omit the dill, sourcream/butter sauce from the dish.

We waited a very long time for our order to be taken, but the server apologized for the long wait (apparently he didn'tknow we were his table), and all went quickly once the situation was rectified. The food was good and we will go back again, though maybe at a less busy time.

It was Sunday evening and the food came pretty fast and was very tasty. The garlic shrimp appetizer was super delicious. And a tasty salad with a piece of cheese on top and pecans and arugula and mustard dressing yummy!

We've never been here before but pleasantly surprised. Service was stellar. Grant was great and took care of us. Wife's swordfish was very good. I ordered the coconut shrimp and it was average. Bit over cooked. We'll give it another go.
