Bidra med feedbackI was in the business all week in poitiers and finally found a place that would serve me and then would not ignore the rest of the night. good wine selection. good food. sitting outside was nice, talking to someone I couldn't talk to, of course, English! best experience I have fed into poitiers.
Cute and cuddly as everything crawls! the staff is friendly and very knowledgeable about wein. the atmosphere is relaxed and yet demanding and the fish plate is absolutely delicious!
Following the divergent opinions of friends and suppliers (especially) I tested again by saying that they were entitled to one or two days of fatigue. Just horrible! reception very nonexistent. the waitress and the manager/owner/mec-planté--au-comptoir-derrière-son-comptoir-comptoir-comptoir have a huge talent to ignore customers. You make a discreet sign, lift your hand and despair of cause you call them and the result is the same, the waitress passes next to your table, the right look, lost in the bottom of the restaurant with an attitude that clearly indicates "if I do as if I had heard nothing they will eventually believe it". Let's talk about wine: no advice. we are just told that we can take the bottle that we like in all those that are exposed in the restaurant with the price indicated in wholesale to the white marker ... class and refinement. So good, we take a bottle a little by chance (not the cheapest, by the cheapest... in doubt we hit the middle.)Here, it's the drama. of the red wine that we said came out of a carton lighter. So I'm not saying that all the wines are bad, given the number I'm saying that we certainly haven't had a chance ... then the cheese plate. I don't know how many we were, but let's go. The cheese is good (hourra, a good surprise.) on the other hand, in the bread basket, problem: there are less slices than guests. the waitress being always the nose in the air, my friend rises to ask for bread from the manager planted behind his computer. This one appeals to the waitress who suddenly seems to have found hearing and who goes (no good grace) to get us bread ... finally two slices of bread. ouf, each one has a puck (not more, we should not abuse good things.) we recommend a second cheese tray ... and it is not brought us bread ... yet, a poitiers it is not the number of good bakery that lacks it seems to me. But let's finish on a positive note: when we pay, for the price per person of a good poitiers restaurant, we were entitled to a "do a good evening" of the boss who had miracle lifted his computer's eyes. We try to order and there first complication: don't ask for information because everything is complicated (adjective used at least 15 times by the boss that night).You just ask a question and you have for 10 minutes at the end nothing won or understood. correct board without more for 2, bread distributed with parkimony. We understood why afterwards. the reception had already been limited (we feel like we're getting to the improviser and disturbing someone at the jump of the bed) but we've been at a surreal scene: a couple receiving a good present gift after having booked by mail. they get turned back because "you understand it's your fault", we don't take a reservation after 8:00 pm (one thing like that) and it's complicated etc we have more bread (for distribution tartine limit pae tartine) etc literally and it's complicated and you only had to answer my relance email etc and pass the other side pqoue check the mail etc the poor We didn't get sad because service and non-existent smile, frightened by the sufficiency of the boss. We're not greeted, we don't even bother to cut off their conversation. laborious order, I had to move to the counter!!! The boss doesn't tell me despite my request for clarification. No luck for the second time no mozzarella yet posted to the slate... it told me on a tone meaning "what it has to ask me this one" by a lady who leaves in the kitchen dragging the step (the same impression, we disturb). A correct but very little varied cheese board. 8:10 pm : second order but there "it makes everything order yite because we'll close anyway". Display closure : 22h. Quickly shoot. Not a word of the evening. Even a smile of the lady by serving the bread my faith more abundant tonight. Maybe the boss thinks his wine is enough for himself. in this case we don't open a trade we invite his friends to home. the half bobo mid hipster side can be suitable (organic and biodynamic wines etc) if you like the neglected or even limited side. However, this is not incompatible with professionalism in service and hospitality, in short in trade. We also find much more service. the award remains reasonable. still happy but I'm willing to pay more to avoid this place that remains one of my worst wine bar experiences, which are many. a utterly avoid according to these two experiences. Maybe you'll have more luck but to read the reviews there's no constance.
