Food from the field and garden onto the table...directly...and food this fresh always tastes superb. This attractively put together taverna was a wonderful surprise...the sort you dream of encountering...cosy, traditional stone build, genuine rural vintage folk items on walls...convivial patron...an abandoned menu...you were offered stuff in season from the land surrounding the taverna...and so it was cooked and enjoyed. Once again my veggie husband had a feast. They even smiled when we announced we were taking the bones (my feast) away with us to feed the feral dogs... "ah! the dogs! "A good evening.
