Dandee is a charming, family-owned institution in Pompano Beach that boasts rows of freshly baked treats and good coffee served in classic mugs—not paper or plastic. Located just a block west of Federal Highway next to Wendy's, this 24-hour spot is anything but fancy, but the outdoor patio adorned with twinkling white lights creates a pleasant atmosphere. It's the perfect place to clear your mind when deciding whether to take U.S. 1 or I-95 while traveling south at odd hours. The surrounding neighborhood is decent, and there's often a police presence for added safety. Dandee prides itself on baking with 100% vegetable oil and no preservatives. Be sure to try their homemade Greek Spanakopita, a delicious spinach and feta pie, and don't forget to take home some of their walnut bars!

This is a fantastic little spot! My workplace is nearby, and we often grab breakfast and lunch from here. Their donuts are incredible, and the food is excellent! I have to say that my favorite is the chicken orzo soup paired with a grilled cheese. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxed atmosphere and friendly service!
