Bidra med feedbackVery poor service. We felt ignored throughout the whole experience. We both got the burgers on their English muffin style bread. I had food poisoning the next day.
Stopped here twice . First time we were not that hungry so we just had wings and a chocolate coconut dessert. Both were very good especially for the price. Lunch today was a huge pan of grilled octopus and a small appetizer of local limpets. Both were tasty and well prepared . It was a beautiful day .. a little windy so we sat inside by window. A beautiful view. Our waiter was very sweet although as typical here it was hard to get check at end and we had a plane to catch
Open at the end. We arrived at 1:00. Place still warm open and many tables full of happy locals enjoy this jewel on the waterfront. Absurdos... shrimp and beer! 2,50 Euro per person!!! Unreal! Fried sweet potatoes and sauce also perfection. Espresso. The perfect nightcap to another dreamy day on the Azores. That's all we've tried out of this extensive menu, but I'd think everything's delicious here.
This is THE place to go!! The owner and all the servers are so wonderful and friendly. They will help you and explain everything. There is SUCH a large menu to select from and from all the plates my family tried, it was so flavorful. My favorite were the Oysters, hands down. We got more than an order, but everything was seriously cooked to perfection, and came out so quick! Even with the restaurant being a little busy. Lot's of seating available and again, a friendly and welcoming. I will definitely return and you should definitely try!!
The clear definition of a tourist trap. I honestly don't know what people see in this place. One of the worst places I have eaten ever, everything super overpriced (30€ for a cod dish , service was awful and the evironment was horrible (AC full power just in front of us, stressful, busy, tables right next to each other... Price per person: €35–40 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
