Are here five times over a two week holiday. Food is very good. Chicken and beef on a skewer lovely as was the tuna beef. Very good value for a decent meal. Staff lovely.

Sitting right on the beach you dine here with an great view. The restaurant comes across as rather simple, but the food is excellent. I had the catch of the day which I have to say was very, very, very good.

After a busy day on Funchal and a nightmare finding a parking spot, we were welcomed to the restuarant. Our waitress suggested the fish of the day. This was grilled perfectly, accompanied by two mixed grills and a steak. The portions were well cooked and flavoursome and within our budget. I would highly recommend this restuarant but don't give up of you can't park, try further up the hill. By the way there is a good view of the pebbly beach and if you time it, the sunset.

We only stopped for a long drink and a coffee here, when passing through Ponta do Sol, so can't really grade it effectively. However, plenty of people were having snacks and more substantial meals and the food certainly looked tasty and portions generous.The Bar-Restaurante is situated on a terrace directly next to the beach in the village and you can either sit outside under sun umbrellas, or inside where the side of the bar has floor to ceiling tinted windows and is cool.A great location and, were you spending the day at the beach, a good place to retire to in the heat of the midday sun.

I had never been here before, but came to meet a friend..the bar/ restaurant is located on a beach, with a beautiful view of the ocean and the sound of kids enjoying themselves.. I did not eat a meal but Had the most delicious passion fruit tart, recommended by someone who goes there specifically to eat it! Def worth going just for th location itself
