Just had our first take away roast dinner absolutely stuffed now the portions are spectacular the gravy is to die for Scott and Lucy what you have done to this pub is nothing short of shear brilliance we wish you all the best thank you again.

First time we have been there and was very impressed very relaxed atmosphere , friendly , very very clean and also food was fantastic, theres something to do for all the family absolutely perfect place to av a good day out even if you tske your children it has a massive park.

I've just enjoyed a two night stay here, the new owners are fantastic, and all the staff are happy and chatty. We felt very welcome from the minute we checked in. Nothing was too much, and repeatedly asked was everything okay with our rooms, and if we needed anything, just to ask. The Sunday lunch was superb, large portions and the meats were outstanding. We will definitely be returning here. Thank you Scot and Lucy for a great stay.

Went here for the first time since covid lockdown. Disappointed that staff kept the same PPE on (apron) all night, they went between each customers table wearing the same apron spreading germs from table to table and taking it to the kitchen to bring food to the tables. Didn’t see the staff sanitise their hands between tables either. Food was okay, very large portions and plenty of choice. Tables spread nicely apart with good screens! Poor signage within the pub
