The Rustic Arms - Pontefract

We enjoyed a Sunday carvery with my family today, and it was the best I've ever had—and also the most affordable! I would highly recommend this place to anyone. Price per person: £30-£40. Food: 5/5. Service: 5/5. Atmosphere: 5/5.

We waited two hours to be served food that was, at best, mediocre convenience fare. The soggy salad, which tasted like it was at least three days old, was the final straw. The mashed potatoes were lumpy and, even after sending them back, they returned just as lumpy. Overall, it was quite disappointing. Wow what a wonderful place we where both blown away with The Rustic Arms Ackworth The staff where really polite and professional and couldn’t do enough for us My partner ordered the bourbon burger which was amazing very tasty we are normally put off by burgers in pubs because they are normally greasy but this one was full of different flavours I had the chicken gyros which was amazing too we ended up sharing our meals The pub as a great atmosphere and the deco is to a very high standard we will be back in the near future Price per person: £40–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Chicken Gyros
