El Rincon Chilango - Pontiac

I placed a pick up order over the phone and i specifically clarified I was HIGHLY allergic to onions and did not want them in my food. I picked up my food and TRUSTED they took my allergy seriously and arrived home to see the food i had order was covered in onions. Extremely upset about this, considering I could?ve had an extreme allergic reaction if i hadn?t realized!

This restaurant used to be El Patron, and was my favorite. Now its El Rincon Chilango. The restaurant was clean, and so was the restroom. The staff was nice and very attentive. The menu has many choices. I hope that the take out menu will be available soon.I ordered the beef Chimichanga. Every place has it's own recipe. I would have liked it to be more spicy and crispy. I will return and try other items.

EL Rincón Chilango is such an amazing place! Family and friends used to come here when it was El Patron. Recently found out it opened and decided to come on a limb and it was the best decision ever!!! Food was super amazing and will definitely be coming back for more!!! Delicious food for reasonable prices!!!

The hot hot sauce was tasty and the carnitas tacos were excellent. Service was good and the place was super clean. My first time here, usually I go to the Carnival Market or to Sheila's, but Sheila's is take out only now and don't want to eat in the car. I want to try their pozole next time.

Staff was great. Food on the other hand not so much. I ordered a Cubana sandwich. Who would had inticipated authentic Mexican having craft singles cheese smothered on a bed of cheap hot dogs terrible
