Fish was light and fresh with crispy batter. Really tasty chips. Chicken bites were real chicken breast. Would highly recommend. We had the food delivered and still not and crispy

Really great fish and chips!! Unfortunately the woman behind the counter has no customer service. No please or thank you. The only thing she said was “ what do you want “ and “ orders ready “ and looks really unhappy to be there.

Extremely disappointed with what was hoping to be an excellent fish and chips based on the glowing reviews. Chips were not thoroughly cooked- i bit straight into near solid middles! Curry sauce although had flavour was so watery it was like gravy. Battered sausage was soggy but the bit that made me most sick was the MOULDY BUN! See picture below! This was for my young son so I’m glad I saw it! Digesting food safety issue will be taking further!

I have been going to Nick the fish for many years weekly for lunch, and other food is excellent value for money.The food is always fresh, beautifully cooked and light.I love the mushy peas and the chips are the best!The staff are always kind and friendly and go out of there way to be helpful.I highly recommend Nick the Fish takeaway... Delicious Can't wait for Thursday!

Went here last Friday night for the first time for Cod and chips and it was amazing! The only reason I’m not rating it 5/5 is because of the long wait time which was around half an hour, but luckily it was worth the wait! Will definitely be going back.
