I do not recommend the aperitif!.... Last Saturday my boyfriend and I decide to have a bee before lunch... we sit outside the restaurant and order. Given that we have had many aperitifs in various beautiful places in Italy...but honestly we have never had to pay 16 euros for two aperitifs in Piombino (with all due respect to Piombino but even if we were in the little square in Capri or San Marco in Venice! The aperitifs were a hugo and a glass of prosecco...and they were served to us simply with only a small bowl of low quality chips next to it and nothing else!! If they had brought a cutter with some semblance of appetizer on it, a few pizzas, I don 't know... 2 slices of any cold cuts... 2 olives... the price would have been a little more acceptable. But with this miserable accompaniment it honestly seems to me not only a theft but also a lack of respect for those who break their backs every day to earn a living! If I were the owner I would review his way of doing catering and tourism, aiming not only to make money by offering little but to try to provide a decent quality service at competitive and above all honest prices!!
